We can confirm that emergency services were in Seacombe following a concern for safety in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 5 March.
At shortly after midnight, a report was received of a concern for the safety of a man at Seacombe Promenade.
Officers attended, alongside the coastguard and other emergency services, and a man was located near to the Ferry Terminal and was taken to hospital for assessment.
A second man, aged 31 and from Rock Ferry, was arrested at the location on suspicion of Intentionally/recklessly causing a public nuisance and was taken to a police station for questioning.
