Wirral detectives have charged a teenager in connection with a stabbing in New Ferry last year.
At around midday on Saturday 9 November, a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in Merseybank Road, resulting in a laceration to his arm.
Following a media appeal, a man was arrested late last week.
18-year-old Joel Price from New Ferry has now been charged with the following offences:
Section 18 Wounding with intent
Possession of a bladed article in a public place
Price was additionally charged with Drug driving; Driving without a licence or insurance; Possession of cannabis; and Possession of a bladed article in connection with separate matters.
Price will appear at Liverpool Adult Remand Court, Derby Square today, Monday 3 March.
