We’ve arrested a 22-year-old man and a 19-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder following a shooting in Croxteth on Friday (28 February).
Officers were contacted at just after 10.10pm following reports a 42-year-old man had been shot in the legs on Altcross Road.
The man remains in hospital in a stable condition.
A 22-year-old man and a 19 year-old man from the Croxteth area have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Both have been bailed pending further enquiries.
