Plane crash in Ahmedabad
The UK is working with local authorities in India to urgently establish the facts and provide support to those involved.
Detectives have issued CCTV images of a man who may have information that could assist enquiries following an assault in Liverpool city centre on Saturday 3 May.
A Liverpool woman in her 20s, reported that at around 11pm she was sitting waiting for a friend on Fleet Street, between Einstein Bier Haus pub and Level nightclub. She was reportedly approached and assaulted by a man, before finding safety. The suspect reportedly walked down Fleet Street in the direction of Hanover Street.
Detective Inspector Neil Dillon said: “This was a traumatic experience for the victim which left her shaken. We are working hard to ensure that the person responsible is identified.
“We are very keen to speak with the person featured in the images to help with our enquiries or that others may recognise him and provide this information to the police. We believe he could hold information that could be vital to our continuing enquiries.
“We also encourage people to come forward if you know anything about the incident which will help with our investigation.”
