Plane crash in Ahmedabad
The UK is working with local authorities in India to urgently establish the facts and provide support to those involved.
Officers have arrested a teenager following an altercation involving a large group of youths at Maghull Cricket Club on Friday evening, 2 May.
It was reported that at around 7.30pm a large group of youths had converged on to the club’s field on Old Hall Lane, and some of the males were carrying weapons and began fighting amongst themselves.
They then made off towards Liverpool Leeds canal and no injuries were reported.
Today, Sunday 4 May, officers have arrested a 14-year-old male from Maghull on suspicion of affray, possession of weapon in a public place and possession of a controlled Class B drug, cannabis. He is still in police custody to be questioned.
