We are appealing for information after a burglary at a house in Prescot on Wednesday 23 October.
It was reported offenders targeted a property on Greensbridge Lane sometime between 1am and 8am that day, and stole a number of items including cash, passports, a wallet, purse, two bikes and a marriage certificate. The offenders also made an untidy search of various rooms and inside two cars at the property.
Officers attended and a forensic examination of the scene has taken place. CCTV opportunities have also been explored and door to door enquiries have been carried out.
We are appealing for anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area in the early hours of Wednesday 23 October to contact police. Any information, however small it may seem, could prove vital to our enquiries.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Merseyside Police social media desk via Twitter @MerPolCC or Facebook Merseyside Police CC. You can also call 101 quoting incident reference 19100615203 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously, on 0800 555 111 or via their online form at: https://crimestoppers-uk.org/give-information/give-information.
