Officers have charged a 50 year old man after he was found in possession of a truncheon.John Whittle, 50 of St James Street, Liverpool was searched on Upper Pitt Street and found in possession of a truncheon as well as drugs on Friday night (16th November). He was taken to custody and later charged with possession of a bladed article, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of a controlled drug. He has been released on police bail until 4th December. #OpTarget
