Detectives investigating a cannabis farm found in Wallasey earlier this week have charged a man with cannabis production.
At 10.30am on Monday 11 November, officers carried out a drugs warrant at an address on Mount Pleasant Road and detained a man. Following a search, a cannabis crop was located numbering approximately 60 plants. Further forensic enquiries were carried out at the premises.
52-year-old Altay Teyarecioglu from Mount Pleasant Road has now been charged with production of cannabis and appeared at Wirral Adult Remand Court yesterday (Tuesday 12 November). Teyarecioglu has been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court for trial on Tuesday 10 December.
