Police confirm they are dealing with an unexplained death following the discovery of a man's body in Fazakerley

Merseyside Police can confirm enquiries are underway following the discovery of a man’s body found in undergrowth near to the Liverpool Municipal Golf Club in Fazakerley this evening (Tuesday, 10 September 2019).

Emergency services were called at around 5.40pm by members of the public who were walking their dogs on the field off Valley Road, and officers are carrying out enquiries to formally identify the man.

The death is being treated as unexplained, but is not believed to be suspicious.
