We have released CCTV images to help identify a male who we believe could have information following a reported hate crime on the evening of Saturday 1 July in Liverpool city centre.
It was reported that at around 8.55pm that a drag queen was at work with a group of people on an organised event near to the fountains on Thomas Steers Way, when six people on bikes began shouting abuse and assaulted them.
We are urging the male pictured to contact us because we believe they could have information.
Detective Inspector Alan Nuttall said: “Although several weeks have passed since this incident, our enquiries are ongoing.
“If you are the male pictured, or you know who he is, please let us know to help our investigation.
“No one should ever be subjected to this type of behaviour, and everyone should be able to do their job with without fear or intimidation.
