Man arrested after cannabis, cash and suspected Class A drugs found in Kirkby

We have arrested a man on suspicion of drug offences following a warrant in Kirkby on Wednesday 24 August, where a large amount of cannabis, a quantity of white powder and cash was found.
 
At around 8.30am officers executed a warrant at an address in Kirkby and uncovered a lock box containing a large amount of cannabis in various bags, white powder (suspected class A drugs), cash and drugs paraphernalia.
 
A 27-year-old man from Kirkby at the address was later arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs. 
 
He was taken into custody for questioning and has since been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue. 
 
Community Inspector David Morgan said: “These warrants made by our officers show that we are committed to removing drugs and the misery that they cause from the streets of Merseyside.  
 
“No criminal should profit from such misery while our wider law-abiding communities work hard to earn an honest living. If you know someone in your area involved in suspected drug dealing please let us know so we can take them off our streets.”
