St Helens man arrested on suspicion of murder

We have this evening, Wednesday 31st August, arrested a St Helens man on suspicion of murder.
The 43 year-old man was detained in the Liverpool area following the discovery of the body of a woman at house in Piele Road in Haydock this morning.
He has been taken into custody where he will be questioned by detectives.
A man in his 30s remain in hospital where he continues to be interviewed by officers.
