I became a police officer in 1993 in Merseyside and was appointed Assistant Chief Constable in People Services in January 2022.
Prior to this I have worked as an ACC at Staffordshire Police between 2018 and 2019 having responsibility for neighbourhoods, partnerships and contact and response. I then moved to Cheshire Constabulary as ACC in January 2020 where I oversaw the Operations Portfolio – this included local policing and partnerships, uniformed operations, roads policing and the force control centre.
I have also undertaken two national secondments within my service including reviewing, developing and delivering new national senior leadership programmes. I am the National lead for Vehicle Crime and am an experienced Strategic Firearms Commander and Public Order Commander.
I live within the Merseyside area, have two children and enjoy long walks with my dog and husband.
From mid-February to April 2025 I assume the role of Temporary Deputy Chief Constable while Chris is placed as Temporary Chief Constable.
