The aim of Clare’s Law is to give you a way to make enquiries about your partner if you are worried that they may have been abusive in the past. It also allows you to enquire about an ex-partner, if you are concerned about your safety after the relationship has ended. The scheme aims to help you to make a more informed decision on whether to continue the relationship and provides further support.
