Misconduct hearing outcome for Ryan Theaker

An accelerated gross misconduct hearing was held at Merseyside Police Headquarters on Thursday 7th August 2025.

Former Constable Ryan Theaker was found to have breached the following standards of professional behaviour at the level of gross misconduct:

• Authority, respect and courtesy
• Equality and diversity
• Discreditable conduct

Theaker would have been dismissed without notice had he still been a serving officer. He has been placed on the College of Policing Barred List.
