We can confirm that the death of a man in Huyton yesterday is not being treated as suspicious.
At around 12.15pm on Saturday 27 April, we received a report that a man had been found inside a home on York Road.
Emergency services attended but the man, aged 41, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is now being treated as non-suspicious and officers are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
A file will be prepared for the coroner.
A 46-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder as part of our initial inquiries has now been released with no further action.
