We have arrested a man and seized cash and drugs following an incident in Old Swan yesterday, Thursday 25 April.
At around midday, officers stopped a car on Acanthus Road after it was sighted contravening a red light signal nearby. Cannabis and cash was found during a search of the car.
A further search of an address in Huyton led to suspected cocaine, cannabis and around £200,000 in cash being seized (pictured).
A 33-year-old man from Huyton was arrested on suspicion of Possession with intent to supply cocaine; Possession of cannabis; Possession of criminal property; and Possession of cocaine.
He remains in custody for questioning.
