Merseyside Police can confirm a 19-year-old man who was injured in an incident yesterday, Wednesday 11 December, at Langton Dock in Bootle has sadly died.
At around 1.10pm, emergency services were called to a private industrial site located at the dock off Regent Road, following reports that a man was injured in an industrial accident. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
An investigation into the circumstances of his death will be carried out by detectives and the Health and Safety Executive.
The man’s next of kin have been informed and a police family liaison officer is providing them with support at this difficult time.
