We have charged a man following a spate of burglaries in south Liverpool and Liverpool city centre.
Between 31 March and 8 May this year detectives from the Op Castle team identified a number of burglaries around the area of Upper Parliament Street where bank cards and electrical goods were taken.
Lee Dixon, 55, of no fixed abode has been charged with seven burglaries and one attempted burglary.
He was remanded into custody to appear at Wirral adult remand court today, Wednesday 22nd May.
Operation Castle is Merseyside Police’s dedicated burglary team, whose work is targeted at reducing burglaries and bringing offenders to justice.
