Detectives have arrested and charged a man with two burglary offences in Crosby.
On Thursday 14 October it was reported that a home on Warwick Avenue had been broken into and a handbag was stolen.
The second reported burglary took place on Tuesday 29 October where a house on Tudor Road was broken into. No items were reported stolen as the burglar was disturbed by the homeowner and made off.
Ian Barry Thompson, 50 years, of no fixed address, has been charged with burglary and theft.
He appeared at Wirral Magistrates Court on Wednesday 6 November and has been remanded into custody until his next court appearance on Thursday 5 December.
