A man has been charged with drugs supply offences after a quantity of cocaine was seized from a property in St Helens.
James Birch, 29, of Harlow Close, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs (cocaine and ketamine), being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug (cannabis) and possession with intent to supply cocaine.
He is due to appear at Wirral Magistrates’ Court this morning, Wednesday 13 November.
On Tuesday 11 November, officers searched a home in St Helens and found around 50 grams of cocaine, which led to the arrest of Birch.
The investigation involves Operation Medusa as part of ongoing efforts to tackle County Lines drug dealing and child criminal exploitation.
