Emergency services on M6 following serious collision

We can confirm that emergency services are on the M6 following a serious collision this evening, Monday 28 April.

At around 9.10pm, officers were called to between Junctions 22 and 23 Northbound at Haydock to reports of a collision involving three vehicles. NWAS and MFRS are also on the scene and injuries are being assessed.

A closure is currently in place on the slip road onto the M6 from Junction 22 and between Junctions 22 and 23 in both directions.
