We can confirm that a man has been charged following reports that a male was acting suspiciously around children in Crosby.
We received several reports last month of a man behaving in an indecent manner around school pupils in Coronation Park and near a high school.
Enquiries were carried out into the incidents and patrols were stepped up in the area to reassure the community.
Richard Seddon, 51, of Hyde Road, in Waterloo, has now been arrested and charged with two counts of committing an act of outraging public decency. He has been bailed and is due to appear at Liverpool Magistrate’s Court today, Thursday 17 April.
