Detectives are appealing for information after criminal damage in Eastham in the early hours of this morning, Thursday 28 August.
At around 1.10am, patrols attended a house on Wood Heath Way to reports of a Ford Puma being in collision with a house.
A suspected stolen car was seized and has been forensically recovered.
Following enquiries, a 22-year-old woman from Leasowe was arrested on suspicion of Conspiracy to destroy/damage property and remains in custody at the time of writing.
Officers remain at the scene today, carrying out further work. A cordon remains in place.
Detective Inspector Holly Chance said: “We believe that this was a deliberate act carried out in a stolen car, which has caused significant damage but thankfully no injuries to occupants. We’re keen to speak to anyone who saw or captured this vehicle in the area, or committing the offences.
“CCTV, dashcam and doorbell footage could be vital as we look to establish why this happened. We are of course supporting the victims as these enquiries continue.”
