We have charged an 18-year-old man with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
The charge follows reports of shots being fired at a house on Kingsley Road in Toxteth in the early hours of Sunday 5 October this year. Damage was caused to a window.
Following enquiries Jama Yusuf, of Eversley Street, Toxteth, has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and two counts of criminal damage.
He was remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool magistrates court today, Wednesday 17 December.
Detective Inspector Chris Clark from the firearms investigation team said: “Gun crime remains a priority for Merseyside Police and we remain committed to investigating any incidents and bringing the offenders to justice.
“We would continue to ask our communities to come forward with information to assist us in taking positive action to keep people safe.”
