Detective Sergeant Adam Morgan said: “The supply of illegal drugs is often reliant on violence, intimidation and the exploitation of vulnerable people.
“It has no place in the heart of our communities in Merseyside, and every seizure of cash, illegal drugs and equipment linked to them hits the dealers where it hurts - in their pockets.
“Using police and community intelligence, officers execute warrants, stop checks and land searches all year round to disrupt the supply of drugs, take them off our streets and bring those involved to justice.
“This incident illustrates the value of proactive policing in areas intelligence leads us to suspect are experiencing the scourge of drug dealing, and we will continue to do everything in our power to stop the cycle of drug supply in Merseyside.”
