Op. Toxic: Toxteth man charged with drug supply offences following stop check in Liverpool

Detectives have charged a Toxteth man with drug supply offences following a stop check in Liverpool yesterday, Monday 7 July.

At around 11am, officers on patrol on Edge Lane sighted and stopped a vehicle of interest. An occupant was detained and arrested.

Darren Kamara, 25, of Solway Street West, was charged with Being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis; and Possession of cannabis.

Kamara was remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Remand Court this morning, Tuesday 8 July.

The charges came under Operation Toxic, part of Project Medusa - a Merseyside-led initiative set up to tackle suspected County Lines drug dealing and child criminal exploitation across the country.
