Detectives have charged an eighth man in connection with a serious incident in Kensington last week.
Just after 10pm on Wednesday 26 February, a number of reports were received that there was a group of men fighting in the street at the junction of Holt Road and Edge Lane.
A 31-year-old man suffered a stab wound to his leg and was taken to hospital. He has since been discharged.
Sabawon Kharotai, 18, of Grove Road, Fairfield has now been charged with Violent Disorder.
Kharotai will appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court this morning, Tuesday 4 March.
