We have released CCTV images of a man who we believe could have information following two reported burglaries and an arson in Liverpool.
We received two separate reports that someone had broken into a restaurant on Smithdown Road on Friday 24 October and Sunday 26 October. During these two burglaries, items taken included cash, tablets, a camera, alcohol and various meats.
On Friday 24 October, it was also reported that a flat, which is located near the restaurant on Smithdown Road, was on fire. Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service (MFRS) attended to extinguish the fire and following inquiries it’s believed it was started deliberately.
We believe that the man pictured could have information about all three incidents and we are looking to trace him.

Detective Inspector Neil Dillon said: “We are taking all three incidents extremely seriously and want to speak with the man pictured as a matter of urgency.
“If you recognise him, please let us know because we believe he could have information to assist our investigations.
“Business burglaries are not victimless crimes and can have a huge impact on staff and the local community.
“We hope this man can come forward to assist with our enquiries or that others may recognise him and provide this information to us."
