We have charged a man with firearms offences following a warrant in Dovecot last year.
On Saturday, 30 August 2025, officers carried out a warrant at an address in Brenchley Close, seizing a suspected Uzi; a suspected self-loading pistol; ammunition; and cannabis.
The occupier, Paul Wilson, 61, was jailed for four years in relation to this investigation in March.
Following forensic enquiries, another man was arrested yesterday, 15 April.
Joseph McCollum, 39, of Ulster Road, Old Swan has now been charged with the following offences:
McCollum was remanded into custody and will appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court this morning, Thursday 16 April.
