Woman arrested following collision in Wallasey

We received a report at around 10.50am of a collision involving a car and a cyclist at the junction of Mill Lane and Woodstock Road in Wallasey.
The cyclist, a man in his 50s, was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 51-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of driving a vehicle while unfit through drugs. She has been released under investigation pending further enquiries being carried out.
A road closure was in place while the incident was being dealt with and reopened a short time later.
