We are appealing for information following a fire at a warehouse in Liverpool city centre in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 18 February.
At around 3.45am we received a report that a three-storey building was on fire on Parr Street and two males were seen running from the premises in the direction of Slater Street.
Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the fire.
At the time of writing no injuries have been reported.
A joint investigation between Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and Merseyside Police is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police.
Officers are currently at the scene carrying out forensic and CCTV enquiries.
Road closures are in place in the surrounding area.
Detective Inspector Paula Jones said: “We are in the early stages of an investigation and working closely with MFRS to establish the cause of the fire.
“We are appealing to witnesses to contact Police if they saw two males running from the scene between 3:30am and 4:00am.”
