A man has been charged following the reported stabbing of a man and woman in Huyton in May last year.
At around 4.25pm on 14 May, we received a report that a man in his 20s and a woman in her 50s had been stabbed in a house on Tobruk Road. Both required hospital treatment.
The suspect was sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
Ryan Baker, 32 years, of Tobruk Road, Huyton has now been charged with two offences of attempted murder and one of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. He is due to appear at South Sefton Magistrates Court via video link on 2 April.
