We can sadly confirm that a body has been found which we believe to be Stephen Molloy.
The 60-year-old, from Southport, was first reported missing on Thursday 4 June and extensive enquiries have been ongoing to locate him.
Sadly, a body was found in Halsall, in Lancashire, last night (Wednesday 17 June) and although he is yet to be formally identified, it’s believed to be Stephen. His family have been informed.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
