An 18-year-old man has been arrested after ketamine, cannabis and £1000 in cash was found during a warrant in Moreton yesterday on Monday 15th June.
At around 10am officers executed a warrant at an address in Moreton. During the search large quantities of suspected ketamine and cannabis was seized along with £1000 in cash, tick lists, a cash counting machine, scales and mobile phones.
An 18-year-old man from Moreton was arrested inside the house on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug. He was taken to a police station in Merseyside and has now been released under investigation.
Detective Inspector Sarah Wilkinson said: “This was a successful warrant where a significant quantity of Ketamine was found at a house in Moreton.
“Ketamine, which is a Class B controlled drug, can cause severe, often irreversible health problems that can devastate lives. Our officers will continue to pursue anyone involved in drug supply in Moreton and beyond through morning warrants, stop checks, land searches and more so they can be brought to justice and our communities protected from the harm they bring.
