Detectives have charged a man with manslaughter following the death of Alex Jones in Liverpool city centre last March.
At around 7.35pm on Friday 28 March 2025, officers were called to reports of a man having sustained a serious head injury close to McDonalds at the junction of Hanover Street and Ranelagh Street.
The victim, Alex Jones, from Birmingham, was taken to hospital but sadly passed away last April. He was 34.
Jack Dixon, 32, from Lime Close, Hollywood, Worcestershire, has now been charged with Manslaughter. Dixon will next appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Wednesday 19 August.
