We have charged two men with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine following a vehicle stop check in Liverpool.
Matrix officers were on uniformed patrol in Renshaw Street in Liverpool city centre at around 11.30am yesterday, Wednesday 3 June, when they sighted two males acting suspiciously.
The officers stopped a car nearby and detained the occupants and took them into custody.
Following searches a quantity of suspected crack cocaine was recovered.
Daniel King, 33, of Shrewton Road, Liverpool, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine, possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A (crack cocaine and heroin) and possession of a controlled drug Class B (cannabis).
James McGlade, 29, of Rosefield Road, Liverpool, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.
Both have been remanded into custody to appear in court today, Thursday 4 June.
