Three men have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences, possession of criminal property and possession of an offensive weapon after cash and several bags of cannabis were found at an address in Tuebrook.
On the morning of Thursday 26 March, officers executed a warrant on Brookbridge Road after an ongoing investigation revealed that drugs were being stored at the property.
Officers searched the address and found hundreds of packages of cannabis, several thousands of pounds in cash, machetes and a cross bow.
Three men aged 29, 34 and 38 from Liverpool were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to sell a Class B drug, possession of offensive weapons and possession of criminal property.
They all remain in custody at a police station in Merseyside.
Police Staff Investigator Jack Rothwell said: “We have successfully removed a large quantity of drugs from a property in Tuebrook that could have caused serious harm in our community and arrested three men.
"These warrants take place all year round so that our officers can stop those involved in criminal activity and reassure residents that we are doing everything we can to prevent any type of serious organised crime.
