A man and woman have been charged and a substantial quantity of drugs seized following a warrant carried out in Wallasey yesterday, Thursday 7 May.
Officers attended an address on Mostyn Street and seized 2.5 kilos of suspected cocaine, plus other items. A further search led to 2.4 kilos of cannabis being found in a suitcase stored in a kitchen cupboard.
A man reportedly attempted to flee the address, and was detained on a first-floor roof of the property. A woman was detained inside the address.
Stephen Hone, 42, of Mostyn Street, has been charged with Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine) and Class B drugs (cannabis).
Terri-Anne Williams, 41, of Mostyn Street, has been charged with Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine) and Class B drugs (cannabis); and Perverting the course of justice
Both were remanded in custody appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court today, Friday 8 May.
