We have charged a man following a burglary at a Wirral primary school last night, Monday 25 May.
At 11.35pm, a report was received of entry being forced to St Peters Primary School, St Peters Way, Noctorum, with damage being caused and items stolen.
Officers attended and at 11.59pm, a suspect was located in a garden on Newport Close, and was detained.
James Dean, 46, of no fixed abode, has now been charged with Burglary other than dwelling.
Dean was remanded in custody to appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court today, Tuesday 26 May.
