We can confirm we received a report that a woman has fallen from a bridge on Junction 2 of the M53 in Moreton this evening, Thursday 28 May.
At around 6.20pm, officers were called to junction 2 of the M53 after reports of a concern for the safety of a woman who was on the bridge of the motorway.
The woman has been taken to hospital via air ambulance in a serious condition.
Junction 2 of the M53 was closed in both directions whilst emergency services were on the motorway and have now been reopened.
