Three people have been arrested after officers noticed suspected drug dealing, resulting in a large quantity of cannabis recovered in Liverpool.
Officers were on mobile patrol yesterday afternoon (Thursday 21 May) when they noticed a man approach a car in suspected drug dealing on Bardsay Road in Everton.
A search was carried out as a strong smell of cannabis was emanating from the vehicle, and the Class B controlled drug was found in the driver’s jacket and vehicle.
A further search was conducted at an address in Everton resulting in around 25kg of cannabis and cannabis oil recovered from the property.
Three people, a 36-year-old man from Bootle, a 32-year-old man from Liverpool, and a 42-year-old woman from Everton, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled Class B drug, cannabis. They are all in police custody for questioning.

Detective Inspector Paula Jones said: “We all know too well the substantial damage and harm drugs has on our communities.
“I hope theses arrests sends a clear message to those involved in serious and organised crime that we are relentless in proactively pursuing criminals to bring them to justice.
“We would urge residents to get in touch, if you have information on those involved in drug dealing or criminal activity.”
