CCTV appeal after two men assaulted at a pub in Woolton

Detectives have issued CCTV images of three men who may be able to assist with their enquiries following reports of an assault which occurred at a pub in Woolton.

Just after midnight on Sunday 16 August, it was reported that two men were assaulted by three other men after a disagreement with two women at The Coffee House in Woolton.

One man suffered injuries to his face which required stitches and the other victim fell unconscious following the assault.

CCTV enquiries have been carried out to identify the suspects responsible, and detectives have now issued an image of three men they believe could assist with their investigation. 

Detective Inspector Jemma Berry said: “This was a dangerous and violent assault which left one man with several injuries to his face that required stitches after the incident.

“I am appealing to find the men shown in this CCTV footage, or anyone who recognises them to come forward as we believe they could hold information that could be vital to our continuing enquiries.

“Similarly, if you were in the Coffee House in Woolton Village at midnight on Sunday 16 August and saw what happened please contact police as soon as possible. Any information you report will be assessed and could be vital to our enquiries.”
