I joined Merseyside Police in 2024 on secondment as T/ACC from North Wales Police. I started my police career at West Midlands Police in 1997.
In 2022 I was promoted to temporary Assistant Chief Constable, within North Wales Police, having responsibility for Crime and Operations, Force Control Room, Prevention, Criminal Justice, Local Policing and Specialist capabilities.
Since joining Merseyside Police, I have responsibility for Toxicology; Review, Retention and Disposal of Data; Crime Data Integrity and Data Quality and Retail Crime. Nationally, I am the Chief Officer lead for Retail Crime.
I had a brief spell out of force as a T/ACC working on a National re-write of the NSIR(A) in 2023 working with the Home Office.
I am accredited in the Executive Leaders Programme; as well as, strategic firearms, public order and chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) commander. I am also strategic multi-Agency trained.
I am married with two children and in my spare time I enjoy playing football and running, but in general keeping fit.
