The Merseyside Police Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is provided by Health Assured.
The programme offers support on a wide variety of issues, helping you to work towards realistic, achievable solutions.
This service is available to any spouse/partner and children between the ages of 16-24, in full time education and living under the same roof as the covered employee. They can access the helpline, online video and structured telephone counselling only. Face to face counselling only extends to couples counselling if the employee requests it.
Information on a range of issues including, but not limited to; consumer, family including dependent care, wills and commercial.
Bespoke response 24/7/365 for critical incidents that occur in the workplace through in-house trauma practitioners.
Counsellors directly for specialist signposting onward referral to support within the employees' locality.
