Anti- social behaviour around Hunts Cross Avenue and surrounding areas.
Issued 07 October 2026
From feedback in the community we are aware that ASB and crime in Calderstones park and surrounding areas in particular with youths is an issue. We know that this has been heightened recently during the run up to Halloween and Bonfire Night. To combat this we have set up Operation Banger which aims at increasing high visibility patrols at key times to target offenders, we have also been working with our partners to look at the overall safety of the park and to see how things can be improved, this includes the lighting and CCTV provision.
