Inconsiderate Parking and vehicle crime
Issued 01 July 2026
From feedback in the community we are aware that inconsiderate and careless parking is an issue and there has been an increase particularly just before Christmas. To combat this we have set up a Winter of Action Plan which aims at increasing patrols at key times to target offenders and this has included plain clothes officers working in the area. We have also been working closely with the partners to tackle the issue from a more joined up perspective.
