Your Neighbourhood Policing Team
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is a group of Merseyside police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Merseyside.

Anti Social Behaviour
Action taken:
Neighbourhood Policing Officers have been carrying out additional high-visibility patrols to tackle youth related anti-social behaviour and deter young persons from congregating in large numbers and causing issues to the local businesses and residents.
Several young persons have been identified and work is ongoing towards utilisation of ASB powers to steer them away from criminality. E-Bike Anti-Social Behaviour
Neighbourhood Policing Team is determined to reduce anti-social behaviour ,with particular attention to issues involving e-bikes. Our officers are engaging with local residents, businesses, and partner agencies to address concerns and take action against those causing persistent problems.Action taken:
We are conducting high-visibility patrols in affected areas and seizing e-bikes being ridden illegally or dangerously.

Priority:
There has been an increase in reports of criminal damage has been identified within the area. As a result, this issue has been recognised as a local policing priority and will be subject to ongoing monitoring and analysis to identify crime patterns, hotspot locations, repeat victims and any individuals responsible for offending. Merseyside Police and the Police and Crime Commissioner identify acquisitive and neighbourhood crime as a key priority and are committed to reducing offences that negatively impact local communities.
In response to the increase in incidents, targeted patrols will be conducted within affected areas to provide reassurance to the public, gather intelligence and deter further criminal activity. Officers will review all available evidence, including CCTV footage, witness accounts and local intelligence, to identify those responsible and prevent further offences.
Merseyside Police will work closely with partner agencies, local authorities, housing providers and community stakeholders to address any underlying issues contributing to the offending and to develop long-term solutions to reduce criminal damage within the community
