The area around Sandfield Park and West Derby, has been highlighted due to road traffic offences and particularly dangerous parking, during school pick up and drop off hours.
Action taken:
Officers have deployed in partnership with LCC parking officers, to target offending drivers. They have worked alongside the community and local schools, to provide resources during the first weeks of the new school year and during specific evening events which attract additional motorists.
We continue to work with LCC highways, to improve road safety features along Mill Lane and in particular efforts to erect safety rails alongside a bus stop near to Holly Lodge school.
