A man has been jailed today, Wednesday 18 September, for his role in violent disorder in Southport.
A teenager from Knowsley who assaulted a police officer in Liverpool city centre and a man who used a rock to smash the window of a police van in Southport have become the latest people to be sentenced for violent disorder.
Detectives investigating incidents of violent disorder in Southport and Liverpool have charged four more people from the North West.
A man has been jailed today, Thursday 12th September, for his role in violent disorder in Southport.
Following an earlier appeal a man has been charged with burglary in Crosby last month.
